It snowed yesterday: 20 cm. I think we broke the record for the most snow ever on April 6th, which was previously held by 1958.
Here are some of the Spring snowmen which sprung briefly to life yesterday:
Help me! I’m melting!
Zombie Spring Snowman will never die!
By the way, I miss you guys. I never […]

Remember Aggie? Aggie was one of my favourite bloggers. At one time she had multiple blogs. I have not given up hope that Aggie will blog again. Just like I have not given up hope that the Elgin Street Irregulars will someday have another Emergency Meeting.
After all, look at Boo. Boo was one of the […]

I would blog today if I could think of something to blog about, and I would have blogged yesterday too if I could have thought of something to blog about. Â It seems I have reached the bottom of the blogging barrel. I assume it’s just temporary, but time will tell.
So, while I’m waiting for the […]

Yesterday’s blog post, Should we adopt this puppy? has had some completely unexpected and bizarre repercussions.
Someone forwarded the post to Kim Knapp, founder of Friendly Giants Dog Rescue, and she hated it. I don’t understand what her problem with it is, as she doesn’t seem to be able to articulate it, but she really […]

The problem is, I seem to have lost my blogging mojo. I think it’s a casualty of depression.
Normally I go through my days with what I call my “blogger’s eye” wide open. It’s a way of seeing the world, a way of discovering bloggable things in even the most mundane of days.

Meanwhile, life goes on. I’ve been reading and knitting and baking. We drove […]

It was a year ago today that the Bank Street Bully incident happened. The ensuing police investigation fizzled out and, as far as I can tell, there were no real consequences to Constable Eric Post.
But I like to think that the blog post was a consequence. The story got around. And now, one year […]

I can’t think of anything to write about today, so I’m inviting your suggestions, ideas and questions.

It’s time for the Canadian Blog Awards again! The first round of voting is now underway and continues until December 12th.

Back when I used to watch the Young and the Restless (yes, I did, for years!), I participated on a Y&R discussion board that also had an off-topic board attached to it, where you could talk about stuff like politics and the Iraq war and religion and abortion and all kinds of fun controversial flame-war […]
