I figure the dress was just something lying around Girlie’s room and that she put it on Howard to meet Mother. I wonder what happened to Girlie’s Sister, the one whose dress that is. On another note, I think Girlie looks a bit like XUP, don’t you? (comments are technically part of the post… aren’t they?)
Whilst recently in Boulder Colorado we came across this artist who delighted our quirky sensibilities. Clearly a bit pricey for our budget, but nevertheless a kindred spirit who should be recognized here and there by discerning spirits such as yourself.
Wow! That is way kewl.
Of course, it begs the question – which one is Howard?
love it
Me too.
That rabbit’s been drinking. I think it’s the one with the imaginary friend.
I love this.
I agree, there’s something about it that’s just plain funny. I think it’s because Howard is wearing a dress.

You all have exquisitely quirky taste in art.
GC, thank you for ensuring that XUP wasn’t forgotten.
Today is the last day of the Blogging About XUP series. I’m open to suggestions about how to make it memorable.
bizarre and funny all at the same time. i’m cracking up now.
This piece makes me laugh and laugh. I’ll be back to look at it from now until the end of vile November.
So wonderful!
And deBeauxOs is right – which one is Howard? Why would you assume it’s the rabbit?

By the way, I’ve emailed the artist in the hopes she might tell us a little more about Howard.
