I feel in some ways my life is going round in circles or cycles, but in other ways it’s branching out into interesting new territory. I’ve been pretty busy lately with packing (I’m up to 81 packed boxes now, and still going strong), so I haven’t been blogging as much as I would like. Nevertheless, I could point you towards previous blog entries that seem to be echoing current themes in my life. For example, I’m packing and moving just like I packed and moved last February. Homeless Dave X will be living in my vacant apartment for the last 8 days of the month, just like he did last February, in return for cleaning it. I have another mouse in the house (remember the capture and domestication and liberation of Frankie?).

I feel quite smug, because I actually offered to help with the move – and was turned down. So I get the best of both worlds. Moral superiority AND not having to pack boxes.
But really, what I wanted to say is – how’s the dog? Is the medication doing the trick? Did the 100th birthday party so tickle him that he’s philosophical about any present inconveniences? Or is he showing those first tell-tale, twitchy signs of a complete nervous-doggy breakdown?
LOL jperson. Thank you again for the offer of help, but I didn’t want to push you over the proverbial edge. 😉 I might, however, press you into service on something REALLY hard like making dozens of hand-rolled rice paper wraps for the housewarming party.
Sam’s doing much better with this move than the last one. He sometimes shows early warning signs of a meltdown, but the medication is keeping him relatively sane.
