A duck. For Robin.

This duck is for my friend Robin Kelsey, of Watawa Life, who is fond of photographing water fowl.

The picture was taken by Aubrey Stoll. I have no idea what kind of duck it is or where it lives. But it is pretty spectacular.

Spectacular is an understatement! Wow.
The most amazing plumage on any duck I know is the wood duck in North America. I just got out my never-fails-me wildlife book and your duck isn’t there. Then I tracked down Stoll and saw that he took the picture in the UK – I was wondering if it might be a domestic bird… but then I found out… it is a Mandarin duck! Closely related to the Wood duck.
