Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! Turkey’s in the oven. I’m thankful for a lot of things, and one of them is cats. Duncan in particular, of course, but cats in general too.

I realize this is a pretty cheap blog post, especially considering I haven’t blogged in three days and today is my blog’s 5th birthday (!) but I have to get back to preparing a feast and counting my blessings.

Deb, I probably should have said something like that too, instead of saying I’m thankful for cats. 😉 I’m thankful for family and friends and good health and love and for the fact that I was lucky enough to be born in Canada.
I hope you all had a lovely warm holiday. Thanksgiving is one of my all time favorites. I like to cook and there’s all that food to prepare. I like having family and friends around and it reminds me that although I don’t have a lot of money, I am so very rich.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! Thankful for so many things this year – taking charge of my life, my family, my friends, my home, my pets…and despite fretting over the turkey that would not thaw it ended up being perfectly cooked!
