What is it with orange cats liking stuff? Way back Whenever we had seven cats and the orange one was best friends with everything… people, cats, dogs, random woodland creatures, trees, a goat, chair legs, he even had longterm friendships with the crusty bits of melted pizza cheese that fell to the floor.
Of all the cat types out there I think the orange ones have access to the best weed.
We found this CD one day called “Orange Cats Make the Very Best Friends.” I’m not sure what it is, but orange cats really are the friendliest ones ever. My father had an orange tabby when I was little, and my half-sister used his tail for teething. She never got so much as a scratch from that cat.
Supposedly orange (Ginger) cats are predominantly male, friendlier and there are supposedly more obese ones than other breeds/types. I’ve always liked them.
that was one of my wedding songs. Sweet video.
As for the orange cat debate…it was also an orange cat( they actually say it’s a yellow cat but it looks orange to me!) in the National Film Boards animation of “The Cat Came Back” Check it out at http://nfb.ca/film/the-cat-came-back. It’s a classic.
Overall, the male cats we’ve had are more affectionate. They need love 24/7, whereas the girl cats are all very loving, but they bugger off and live in their own worlds for hours at a time, so that you can rest up in between cuddles! Right now we have 2 boy cats, 3 girls. 1 of the girls I’m lucky to touch once a day, the other about 2-3 times a day, usually only when I’m in my bed, and the third I see all day, but that’s because she lives in the computer room, and I only touch her when she’s not looking psychotic! The boys on the other hand are around all day long. They follow us from room to room, even if it’s just to move where they’ve been sleeping. They come up and demand attention a minimum of once every 30 minutes, usually though they’re pestering us for that full half hour! 😛
It’s clear that when they talk about cats being independent they’re talking about girls!
The orange males though are even more friendly than the other colours. Erik has made friends with every single soul to step into our house, including the grocery delivery guys, Bell technicians, and the terrified and/or allergic folks who usually kick cats away from them!
Bright warm spot of charm.
Thanks

Help I’m going into a diabetic coma.

AAaaaaaaaaaawwwwwww… *sniff* I can has hanky? *glub*
I would think it was too sweet, and a set up if I didn’t see our orange cat and our two dogs do the exact same thing. Every time, we go…awwwww.
The bunny makes it almost too sweet. Cats usually eat bunnies. But I loved the cat and the deer snuggling together. Almost gives me a cavity!
Well, I’m in love with an orange cat, so I can’t say I’m unbiased. But there does seem to be something special about them, doesn’t there?
Julia. You and I always seem to be in disagreement over two subjects: politics and bunnies. And this is no exception. Cats do NOT usually eat bunnies!
If only we all could get along like this!

gorgeous video
@ zoom!:
They do if they are baby bunnies! I’ve seen it happen. Urk. Cats are just natural hunters and bunnies are natural prey.
