This is the longest stretch of holidays I’ve ever taken: June 28 to August 4. Five and a half weeks. Thirty-eight days.
There’s only nine days left after today. I’m getting that ominous Sunday back-to-work feeling already.

Ho hum.
I think I’ll go lie on the couch with Duncan now.
I notice that you haven’t said how many of these things got done.
Things I want to do on my vacation:
1) not work
Aren’t these things you can do during the work year on evenings and weekends? You should do stuff you can’t do while working. Go to the beach on a nice Wednesday morning, watch Oprah and flick during the commercials. Go out Tuesday night untill 2 am. Or travel to New Brunswick AND do all of the above! 😉 Enjoy.
Deb, so far none of them have gotten done because I just made the list today and it exhausted me so much Duncan and I had to have a nap afterwards.
Leanne, that too!
AVG – yes, you’re right of course. I’ll add those things to my list.
For the computer, remember the Mac idea. So much easier.
i want to see the lion cut duncan pics when it’s done…
art show tomorrow…minto park, across from jpcc!
What’s jpcc?
Jack Purcell Community Centre. I think I’ll go. Thanks Elmaks.
Now, why in earth would you put your winter clothes away? We’re end of July, in Ottawa…you’ll need them soon enough, so draw a line across that one…. Lion cut…Duncan will love. My friend had her Maine Coons done, awesome!
What, no knitting? Does Duncan’s fur mat? Maybe you can felt something with the results of his lion cut.
I vote for writing, camping, and journaling. The rest will get done when they get done.
Get bicycle ready for summer — ha ha!
I didn’t end up going to the art thing – I had naps instead.
Carmen, you’ve got a point. I should go through all my clothes though and get rid of the stuff I don’t wear – it’s wrinkling the stuff I do wear.
Duncan’s lion cut will be so blogworthy.
Abby, his fur mats a wee bit, but surprisingly little. I just cut two mats out of him the other day, but it’s only the second time in 7 months. Felting, hmmm? Good idea. I’ll ask the groomer to save it for me.
XUP, it’s taken me months to find my air pump and buy a helmet. I just need a lock and I’m all set. (Do you have your bike out already?)
Already? It’s almost August! Getting the bike ready for summer usually happens in April.
