I call this “the lifeguard instinct”. My cat obviously thinks it’s unsafe for me to bathe unsupervised, and it’s her job to make sure her human survives the whole unnatural process…
Lucky sulked because I scooped him out of the shower AGAIN this morning. Why does he still believe, after 14 years of cohabitation, that the routine will ever change? He lurks between the shower curtain and liner and swats at me to express displeasure. Very shapely feet BTW — as for mine, have you ever read Roald Dahl’s description of witch’s feet? Or see Angelica Huston in the very excellent movie?
Yep. The Yarn Harlot sent me, too. I put you on my blog so one or two of the five people in the country who don’t read about Stephanie’s antics can find you.
If you aren’t knitting enough to blog about it, you can always blog about the cat more. What a cutie! I used to own an Abbysinian cat. They, generally, love water. I can’t tell you how many times I was taking a bath and, suddenly, a cat would be swimming in the water with me!
awww… I just got a new little orange kitten (Hobbes). Him and Sage (my older cat) both hang out with me in the bath tub now. It’s quite the party.
Great photos, zoom.

I am unspeakably jealous of your bathtub.
